TVS Motor Company Makes Global Statement at EICMA 2025

TVS Motor Company made its debut at EICMA 2025, presenting an ambitious portfolio that signals the Indian manufacturer's intent to expand its European footprint and compete in premium motorcycle segments globally.

The company unveiled six new products spanning internal combustion and electric powertrains. The showcase was headlined by the TVS Tangent RR Concept, a supersport motorcycle featuring a monocoque subframe constructed from composite materials, and the TVS eFX three o, described as the company's most powerful electric motorcycle concept to date.

Also introduced were the TVS M1-S electric maxi scooter, the company's first entry into this segment, and the TVS Apache RTX 300, an adventure tourer scheduled to reach European markets in the first quarter of 2026. The electric TVS X and the TVS RTR HyprStunt Concept, positioned as an urban sportsbike, rounded out the new product lineup.

Adjacent to the main TVS pavilion, Norton Motorcycles displayed its latest range. TVS Motor Company has invested £200 million over five years in reviving the British brand, which carries 127 years of motorcycling heritage.

Chairman Sudarshan Venu emphasized the company's global ambitions, noting that 35 percent of TVS revenues currently originate outside India, with significant market share across more than 50 countries. The company operates four centers of excellence in India, Indonesia, Bologna, and the United Kingdom.

Beyond motorcycles and scooters, TVS showcased augmented reality-enabled heads-up display helmets developed with Swiss startup Aegis Rider. The technology uses spatial anchoring to project navigation, hazard alerts, and notifications while maintaining rider focus on the road.

The company also demonstrated Android Auto integration with the TVS X console and smartwatch connectivity for the TVS iQube electric scooter, offering real-time vehicle status, battery data, and safety alerts.

TVS Motor Company's existing product range at EICMA included the Jupiter, NTORQ, Raider, and iQube scooters, alongside the Apache RR 310 and Apache RTR 310 sportsbikes. The company displayed custom variants, including a limited-edition carbon fiber Apache RR 310 and build-to-order Apache RTR 310 options.

The manufacturer also exhibited two e-bike models and an extensive accessories range featuring helmets, riding gear, and lifestyle merchandise reflecting its motorsport heritage.

TVS's European expansion plans include launching the TVS X and M1-S electric scooters by the end of 2026. The company emphasized its manufacturing capabilities and quality credentials, including being the only two-wheeler manufacturer to win the Deming Prize and leading J.D. Power satisfaction surveys in multiple categories.

The EICMA debut represents a significant milestone for the century-old Indian manufacturer as it positions itself against established European and Japanese competitors in premium motorcycle segments.
