TVS Motor Company has unveiled the TVS Ntorq 150, positioning it as India's quickest hyper sport scooter with an introductory price of Rs. 119,000 (ex-showroom, all India).
The new scooter is powered by a 149.7cc air-cooled O3CTech engine that delivers 13.2 PS at 7,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm. The company claims segment-leading acceleration with a 0-60 km/h time of 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 104 km/h.
"TVS Ntorq 150 is inspired by the learnings from all our riders and will further strengthen our scooter portfolio," said Gaurav Gupta, President of India 2W Business at TVS Motor Company. The scooter combines race-inspired performance with advanced connectivity features and first-in-segment safety technologies.
The design draws inspiration from stealth aircraft, featuring MULTIPOINT projector headlamps, aerodynamic winglets, colored alloy wheels, and a forward-biased stance. The naked motorcycle-style handlebar and jet-inspired vents reinforce its sporty character.
Technology features include a high-resolution TFT cluster with TVS SmartXonnect offering over 50 connected features. These include Alexa and smartwatch integration, turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle tracking, call and message alerts, ride modes, and over-the-air updates.
Safety features comprise ABS and traction control systems, described as first-in-segment offerings. The scooter also includes crash and theft alerts, hazard lamps, emergency brake warning, and follow-me headlamps.
Comfort elements include telescopic suspension, adjustable brake levers, a patented E-Z center stand, and 22-liter under-seat storage capacity.
The TVS Ntorq 150 will be available in two variants across six color options. The standard variant comes in Stealth Silver, Racing Red, and Turbo Blue, while the TFT cluster variant offers Nitro Green, Racing Red, and Turbo Blue.
Aniruddha Haldar, Senior Vice President at TVS Motor Company, noted that over two million Ntorq riders and 50 self-managed ride groups define the brand's relationship with customers. The new model targets evolving high-performance aspirations of Generation Z consumers.
TVS Motor Company operates manufacturing facilities in India and Indonesia, serving markets across 80 countries. The company has previously received the Deming Prize and recognition in J.D. Power surveys for quality and customer service.
