Sterling Gtake Rebrands as Sterling E-Mobility Solutions Limited
Automotive component maker expands EV technology portfolio through strategic rebrand and international partnerships.
Sterling Tools Limited announced on tuesday that its subsidiary Sterling Gtake has been rebranded as Sterling E-Mobility Solutions Limited, signaling the company's broader ambitions in the electric vehicle sector. The rebrand reflects the automotive component manufacturer's expanding range of EV powertrain and power electronics solutions.
The move comes as Sterling has established multiple technology partnerships to strengthen its position in India's growing EV market. In May 2025, the company signed a technology licensing agreement with Advanced Electric Machines (AEM), a UK-based firm, to manufacture magnet-free motors domestically.
This was followed by a September partnership with Landworld Technology Co. Ltd., a Chinese company specializing in on-board chargers and DC/DC converters.
"This rebranding reflects our commitment to delivering integrated EV solutions powered by global innovation and local expertise," said Anil Aggarwal, Chairman of Sterling Tools Limited, in a statement.
The company emphasized that its existing exclusive partnership with Jiangsu Gtake Electric Co., Ltd. for the Indian market remains unchanged and continues to develop products tailored to domestic requirements.
Sterling Tools Limited, incorporated in 1979, is a manufacturer of automotive fasteners and components serving various vehicle segments including passenger cars, two-wheelers, and commercial vehicles.
The company's subsidiaries include Sterling E-Mobility Solutions Limited and Sterling Tech-Mobility Ltd., the latter of which has ventured into electric vehicle components manufacturing.
Product branding will now reflect Sterling's diverse technology collaborations with Gtake, AEM, and Landworld, underscoring what the company describes as its commitment to transparency and innovation in the EV ecosystem.
