Mahindra Expands Commercial Vehicle Network with 10 New Dealerships

Mahindra has inaugurated 10 new dealerships for its truck and bus business this festival season, marking a significant expansion of its commercial vehicle network across India. The announcement was made on October 28, 2025.

The new 3S (sales, service, and spares) dealerships are located in Durgapur, Guwahati, Haldwani, Hissar, Bhopal, Hubli, Raipur, Muzzafarpur, Jalandhar, and Kanpur. These facilities add 60 vehicle service bays to the company's infrastructure, with a combined capacity to service over 100 vehicles daily. The dealerships also offer driver lodging facilities, round-the-clock breakdown assistance, and AdBlue availability.

Mr. Vinod Sahay, President of Trucks, Buses & Construction Equipment, Aerospace & Defense, and Executive Chairman of SML Isuzu Ltd., emphasized the company's commitment to growth in the commercial vehicle segment. He noted that Mahindra, combined with SML, now operates over 600 sales and service touchpoints nationwide.

According to company figures, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. currently holds approximately 7 percent market share in the trucks and buses segment, with a 24 percent share in the intermediate and light commercial vehicle buses category. The company has set ambitious targets to increase its overall market share to 10-12 percent by fiscal year 2031 and over 20 percent by fiscal year 2036.

Dr. Venkat Srinivas, Business Head of Mahindra Trucks, Buses & Construction Equipment and ED & CEO of SML Isuzu Ltd., highlighted the company's focus on customer-centric solutions. He pointed to the company's guaranteed mileage offerings across its product range and its iMAXX telematics system as key differentiators in the market.

The expanded network now includes 203 3S dealerships, 137 2S dealerships, 273 authorized workshops, over 2,000 spares retailers, more than 200 mobile service vans and workshops, and 22 M-Parts Plazas outlets when combined with the SML network. The company also operates a multi-lingual helpline staffed by technical experts available 24x7.

Mahindra's commercial vehicle range includes the BLAZO X, FURIO, OPTIMO, and JAYO series. The heavy commercial vehicle products are manufactured at the company's facility in Chakan, Pune, while light commercial vehicles are produced at the Zaheerabad facility in Telangana.
