ASK Automotive introduces AISIN ASK products, marking its entry into the four-wheeler aftermarket across South Asia.

ASK Automotive Limited, India's leading manufacturer of two-wheeler brake components, unveiled its new passenger car product range. Through its joint venture AISIN ASK India Private Limited, the company is expanding into the four-wheeler aftermarket sector across India and neighboring countries.

The launch marks ASK Automotive's first major push into passenger vehicle components, diversifying beyond its core two-wheeler business where it currently holds approximately 50% market share in original equipment manufacturing (OEM).

ASK Automotive has built its position in the Indian auto components sector over three decades, specializing in brake shoes and advanced braking systems. The company has established multiple technical collaborations and joint ventures with global partners, while maintaining manufacturing facilities strategically located near major automotive hubs in India.

The automotive components industry in India has seen significant growth in recent years, driven by increasing vehicle production and a push toward electric mobility. ASK Automotive has adapted to these market changes by developing powertrain-agnostic products for both automotive and non-automotive segments, with a particular focus on electric vehicles and export markets.

Listed on both the National Stock Exchange (ASKAUTOLTD) and Bombay Stock Exchange (544022), ASK Automotive has expanded its product portfolio to include aluminum lightweight precision solutions and safety control cables. The company operates its own research and development facility along with an engineering and design center, serving both domestic and international OEM customers.
